Hey all, I was thinking of setting up a free Fantasy Baseball league for AT users.

I am still a complete noob at Fantasy Baseball, but I will run this league to the best of my abilities (fair and balanced).

**HEAD-TO HEAD EACH CATEGORY**

There are 13 starting offensive spots: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, OF, OF, OF, OF, OF, Util
There are 8 starting pitching spots: SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, P

There are 6 bench spots and 2 DL spots.

If anyone has any thoughts on these basic setup options, please let me know and we can figure out any changes.

Live online draft tentatively set for Tuesday, March 16th at 8:00 EST.

**Prizes (I have 3 used pieces of hardware I am willing to give as prizes) FOR N.A. RESIDENTS ONLY**

1st Place will get first chioce of the following, 2nd place next choice, and 3rd gets whatever is left:

1 Diamond HD2900XT 1GB GPU

2 Logitech G7 Wireless Mouse

3 Seagate 320GB SATA HDD

These prizes are all used, but working as I just removed them from my PC. Do not bitch about the prizes as this is a free league and I am just adding them so people will hopefully remain interested. :awe:

I'll play if you switch to Yahoo head to head as well. Also, change AVG to OBP so walks are counted (as they should).

I kind of ditched my regular annual FBB league (almost 8 years strong! ) b/c I couldn't keep up with baseball throughout the entire season. plus, to be really good in our league, you have to draft AA and AAA players. That's right: DRAFT them. the fuckers in our league know their shit.

kinda soured me on on fbb. so, how does Head-to-Head work with baseball? I love it for football, but think it would be way too tedious for baseball, unless handled differently...

IMO, it's more laid back than football since there are multiple games in a week you're not so focused on getting that perfect lineup in for that one game. For instance, your slugger could go hitless for three games then come back and give you 6 RBIS...

I'll play if you have room yet. I actually vote for Roto style league though. Roto actually requires a lot more skill over the course of the season and also takes the randomness of H2H for playoffs out of the equation.....like if you had a really good team but 1/2 your guys slumped during 1 week of playoffs you end up losing....or people start streaming pitchers duing playoffs to get more Wins and Ks.....if you are doing playoffs.

Either way I'm fine though. No biggie.
