I'd imagine you wouldn't even want to look at the guy, get him away ASAP so you don't have to remember your huge mistake every time you plug him into your lineup.

Hmm, I just noticed the playoffs are two weeks per matchup? Regular season ends week 13, and there are two rounds of playoffs, so weeks 14+15 and 16+17. I don't mind having two weeks for a matchup, but week 17 is usually a garbage week, isn't it?

Thats how it is in every league by default, for as long as I've been playing FF

I've never played like that. Yahoo is single weeks, week 15 and 16. I just checked another ESPN league I'm in, looks like that one is 2 week matchups, starting in week 13.

Then in both of those leagues it was changed, I'm talking default setups.

Default settings for playoffs is 2 rounds with 2 weeks each, starting week 14.

Also, week 16 is often a garbage week just like week 17 is. If a team is way ahead they rest their starters. You just go out and get players for teams that are trying to make the playoffs and stuff like that. Last year I dropped Michael Vick for Tim Tebow and I won the whole thing.

Yahoo is for losers. If you don't like something in ESPN you can change it, you can alter anything. Our commish didn't choose to do that, rightly so.

It adds to the strategy to work around that. And week 16, 2 years ago was exactly that scenerio and was just as bad as week 17.

Very little to not at all. Tweaked his hammy is all, he'll sit out the last pre-seas game and be ready to go week 1.
