My wife has entered our beagles Molly & Willow in a contest being held by HSUS (Humane Society US) for Spay Day USA. Unfortunately she didn't talk to me before uploading the pic so it is kind of dark. To vote you need to enter an email address but they give you a checkbox to opt out of HSUS mailings and say they won't share with 3rd parties. Here is the disclaimer they give:

"We ask for a valid email address to limit voting to one vote per pet for each email address. However, you can vote for multiple pets! We respect your privacy and will not send you any email unless you check the box above. We will never sell, rent, trade, or share your email address."

Below is a link to my original post when we got Molly, Willow is her sister from the same place and we adopted her about 3 weeks after Molly.

Thanks much!

I'm not a particular fan of beagles. I find their bark highly irritating.

Still, I voted for ya :)

And  for the Humane Society. They're an excellent organization.

The beagle is known for it's howl. "Aaaoooohhhh." The Pekinese has it's own distinctive bark. "Yip, yip, yip." Not to be confused with the Chihuahua's, "Yap, yap, yap." But none can compare to the greatest bark of all - the German Shepherd...

You've never heard a Great Dane barking then ;)

The Hound of the Baskervilles had nothing on our Great Dane bitch.

Our beagles are actually very quiet, I guess it has something to do with their early experiences in an abusive situation. About the only time they bark is when we first come into the house after they have been left alone for a while.

I found out why the page comes up slowly, my wife uploaded the unedited pic from the camera so it is a huge image. It is supposed to display full size with the story when you mouse over the small image. I'm kind of surprised the website didn't prevent her from uploading a pic that big.

Thanks to all you that voted so far!
