I hardly ever create threads like these, but this time I really do feel that my friend's blog deserves to win.

My good and longtime friend makes some really good cocktails. Every time he has us over for an evening get together, he conjures up some new concoction that ends up being the new hit among all of us.

He started a cocktail blog called Spirited Alchemy last year and now it is the finalist for Saveur's best cocktail blog. Hear hear! I am also friends with this chap and can attest to his true passion for cocktails which is conveyed through his blog. I also admire a person that puts time and dedication into their passion. It's an awesome blog, full of delicious recipes (I'm a complete novice and managed to impressed my family at thanksgiving!) and he's a nice chap to boot. Would make his day if he got voted for! Yay for the power of the intarwebs!!
