I had a band play on my radio show last night called "Bald Eagle" They are a fantastic punk/hard core/rock band out of Missouri and incredibly nice and "normal" kids/guys.
They have a little angle to sell though this time around and any help from ATOT would be appreciated.
From a email:
The amazing band BALD EAGLE started a petition and just launched a special website to go along with it, to help get them named, "THE OFFICIAL BAND OF THE COLBERT REPORT!"
You can check out the neato USA-Fan-Tacky-Amazing website here: http://www.TheBaldEagleReport.org
(If you're feeling super-giving, be sure to give the guys a hand and sign the petition too!)
So basically, Bald Eagle decided to start a real-life petition at their shows to get on The Report, and so far that is going really well and people seem to be totally into it! (Which is so cool.) So, now they are taking everything to that next level and going online ... as they already have a ton of real paper and pen signatures! The website just went live today ... so they need all the help they can get there.
[insert marketing blabber here about how great the band is etc etc... which they are....]
So ATOT, if you don't mind, hit their new website and sign the petition to get these good guys some national attention and fun on the Colbert Report.
