Hey Guys - I rarely request the ATOT effect but this time I feel it's worth asking for it. A friend of mine has a kind of video blog on YouTube called the Oreo Experience. It's anecdotes and what have you from her life as a bi-racial 20-something.

Somehow it ended up on some racist blog someplace and as you can see by the comments, they've decided to troll the video in force. She sent us an email earlier:



Just take a look at the video - even it brings Olds' law into full force, maybe just leave a nice comment or downrank some of those subhuman douchebags that are on there.

Seems to have worked so far then, I posted less than an hour ago and there were still racist comments on the top.

Not sure this technique will work long term. The call to arms is in print on that other forum, and will be up forever. Anyone browsing can go write some negative comments any time in the future Good luck anyway.

I don't know. She's kinda plain looking. Decent, but I don't really see the point. She's biracial so it wouldn't be unusual for her to gravitate towards men who are white. All that stuff about where black guys or aren't is really irrelevant. If black guys aren't into the things you like, then who's to say maybe they wouldn't be interested in her. For her to say that she is the sole reason she has never dated a black man may not be true. The chances of her not finding one eligible black man is highly highly unlikely.

OP, it seems as if the crudely despicable racist attack has subsided in the face of robust support from AT and elsewhere, and for that I am glad.

Since the crisis has abated, however, I am not going to post in what strikes me as yet another smug, narcissistic, essentially shallow "celebration of me" vanity production from a young woman I suspect I may well find annoying and self-centered irl.
