I suffered from cluster headache until I hit 40 and have been free of them ever since.
It was bad.
They prescribed Decadron back then, one prescription was enough to cause avascular necrosis in the right hip. I have had this hip replaced twice by now.
Ruined my career in the military.

But I am thankful that the headaches are gone. They disappeared on their own, not as a result of any treatment they gave me.

I'll have to read up on avascular necrosis. I get decadron/depo medrol shots regularly!
 
I don't have cluster headaches, I do suffer from migraine headaches.

I clicked the Wiki....cluster headaches last for 15-180 minutes? Is that accurate guys?

Migraines I get can last days if not treated early on.
 
My buddy has cluster headaches. They're incredible. No one should have to deal with that.
