Kinda starting to concern me,it is just the tip ( top knuckle to tip ) of my left pinky and not a full on numb but maybe 50% - 60% numbness ....o_O

No color change or pain either and no it has not been up anyones ass ( it would have been asked,I've been around here long enough to know this.... )

my brother had numbness which started in his fingers & hands, and gradually grew worse. then he began having seizures. after a particularly bad seizure, he had a cat scan and the doctors found a large mass in his brain. he didn't survive the surgery to remove it.

if you're seriously concerned, see a doctor because these things can get crazy in a hurry.

Speaking from personal experience: Numbness or tingling in the fingers can be caused by irritation or compression of the nerves. (In my case, a neck injury from a dirt bike crash).

Understand that lack of stimulation from your nerves can cause muscles to atrophy.

You really should go see a Doctor - and be aware you will likely have to see a specialist.

You probably slept on it or stretched the nerve in a way you forgot - gets better in a week or two. If not THEN see a doctor.

My little finger and ring finger are tingling right now, like they want to fall asleep. I get that occasionally while typing on the computer. Lasts a while then goes away.

It certainly sounds like a nerve impingement. Could be in the neck or several places in the arm. A neurologist could check with a nerve conduction study. Have it checked out.

Problem in neck wouldn't isolate itself to the pinky. Pliablemoose is right.

I have had to write a ton in the past and aside from the numbness, my hand would pull into a claw-like position, there's a surgery for it if it doesn't go away. Ulnar nerve transposition...
