For the last couple weeks, my stomach has really been bothering me.

It seems like it is always making a lot of noise (growling, etc, even when not hungry), and I have been going #2 at least a few times per day (almost always diarrhea).

For the last week, I have randomly been experiencing extreme pain from cramps (totally random times, even in the middle of the night), along with diarrhea.

Not much has changed lately. I moved a couple months ago, and my eating habits have gotten worse. On the average day, I will skip breakfast and eat lunch at around noon (usually Teriyaki, probably at least 3-4 days/week). Usually I eat about half of the food, then finish up the second half for dinner (so, yeah, only one actual meal for the entire day). By the time I go to bed, I am usually fairly hungry.

Could the eating habits be causing this? I guess the smart thing to do would be to eat good for a couple weeks and see what happens.

The weird thing is that, even if I do have a "normal" day (eating all 3 meals, no fast food, etc), I still seem to have stomach problems the next day...

Thoughts?

I would start eating healthier and go see a doc.
You could have something like diverticulitis which might explain the soft stools and pain.

Eat more vegetables!

stress?

I had similar symptoms and went to the doctor after a few months.
They will probably do some blood work and do a general physical if you haven't had one.

Mine turned out to be stress related.

It sounds as if you'll be starting your period soon.

I saw a show where this guy had a lot of the same symptoms (except he also had blood coming out him). He was also a dumbass and kept going to some idiot quack doctor who told him he had ulcers or some crap. Anyway, turns out the guy had a massive tumor on his upper colon. He ended up not dying though, so that was good.

So the moral is: don't be a dumbass!

First, what is your age. Assuming that you are like most on ATOT, early 20's, there are a number of chronic intestinal problems that present at this age. You will need to see a gastroenterologist for a definitive diagnosis. Possiblities include:

Poor diet.
Celiac Disease - an allergy to wheat/rye
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Inflamatory bowel disease including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
even infectious possibilities exist such as Giardiasis (the reason you don't drink the water in mexico)

If pain becomes intense or you note a fever seek immediate attention.

Yeah, I'm 22, almost 23.

My dad has always had a history of stomach problems. I'm not sure exactly "what is wrong", but he uses the restroom frequently.

I had never thought of anything such as IBS or Chrohn's... I guess I'll sign up for a physical and get it checked out.

Edit: Also, FWIW, lately it will feel like I have nothing in me when I'm using the bathroom (but I go anyway because of cramps), and my stool will appear to be nearly clear, and have a consistency similar to snot.

Get checked out. Sounds like ulcerative colitis, which I just got diagnosed with myself. Not fun. That's almost exactly how I presented.
