I've seen this situation played out a few times. I have not read through the thread, if you really care about the family unit. I'd make a tip to the first shirt of the 'other guy' It would stop pretty quickly I am sure but would not prevent the wife from trying again with someone else.

All in all I have to say that I would still be in the military if I was single. However, I met my wife and had to make some choices.

A large portion of them would have no problems with cheating, incest, necrophelia, et cetera, provided the other party or corpse was actually female. It might be all they ever get.

Seems like the more mature members know how to handle the situation while people like you just troll and provide ever so useful comments like the one above.

The final answer to this thread is to MYOB. It really isn't that hard. No one likes a busybody.

So mature people let a bad situation continue on and do nothing about it? Got it.

Dude, I was thinking the same thing. For all these pathetic losers, condoning cheating means .0000000000000000001% greater chance of them getting laid some day which ups their odds of dying a virgin astronomically and is therefore a good thing.

And, no 40hands, it's not the more mature crowd saying MYOB. The people saying MYOB are the people who either lack security in their own belief system and therefore doubt whether they even find her actions THAT objectionable or are lazy or cowards and would rather not have their lives inconvenienced by the drama or deal with any minor confrontation that might arise from it.

The fact is, you'd take action if your neighbor was beating his wife. You would MAKE that your business. Why would you make that your business but not this? Becuase you don't find this a big enough deal.....which should tell you something about yourself.

My god you really are that dumb? Or are you just a religious nutjob? Same difference.

"Ohh noes!! the sanctity of marriage COULD be being defiled!!! HeroOfPellinor to the rescue!!"

The mature crowd does mind their own business. Neighbor beating his wife = illegal and obvious if it's loud. Call the police for a domestic disturbance. Seeing someone else's wife (who you don't even fvcking know) being visited by another man is not the same thing.

"OMGZ call the police honey!! I think she's sinning!!"

Get it through your thick skull.

It's always nice when somebody's bigotry makes an appearance. Let's us know the kind of person we're aguing with.

Try this genius. Ask 100 guys if they'd rather get punched in the face a few times or have their wives cheat on them. Will you disagree that all 100 of them would take the punches? Golly gee, why is that do you think? Because the betrayal of trust (I haven't once mentioned the sanctity of marriage) is exceedingly more painful and damaging long term.

You're really grasping for straws now buddy. Yeah ill go ask 100 guys. You lose the arugment but I don't expect anything to come of it other then more of this BS from you. I already know enough about you from reading through a few P&N threads.

Another great argument.

Old enough to know how to mind my own god damn business.

edit: I wouldn't call it bigotry, I would call it anger of some people imposing moral beliefs upon others. There is a difference.

That's what I thought.

If you must know I have been out of college for quite a few years now. However, I see you have no substance to your argument.

No argument here, just seeing where you are coming from. Married?

Dear posters,

I disagree with your opinions in this thread. I will now flame those of you with whom I disagree. Look at how big my d!ck is.

Sincerely,

Yeah, thats a rough situation, as hard as it is to watch something like cheating going on...at the same time you have to realize that there is a lot of room for assumption.

Unless you were close to them, forget it.

The amusing thing is that 40Hands accuses me of trolling, when all I did was make a humorous post using various threads posted by desperate ATOT males as source material.

Religion has nothing to do with my choice as to what I would do in that situation, but I do thank you for identifying yourself as a bigot. We will be sure to add you to the list. :)

People have voted overwhelmingly that they would want to know if their spouse or significant other was cheating on them.

You know this is a joke. Of course everyone would want to know, but that is not the issue. The issue is whether or not its Andy's business to accuse a person of cheating to that person's spouse. Here are some facts. One he and his wife don't like her. Another fact, neither him or his wife have any relationship at all with these people. Those are the only facts. Now here are the assumptions. One the wife is cheating. He doesn't know that for sure and to make matters worse he has become a peeping pervert. Second assumption the guy wants to know. For all we know he might not even care. For all we know they could swingers. For all we know he may have told her she needs to find someone else. Another assumption is that she is cheating out of lust. For all we know it could be out of revenge if its happening at all. For all we know the husband could be a wife beater or she may have found out he has been sleeping with another woman while deployed or even worse. So based on the facts the only thing that should happen here is that Andy should mind his own business and get some help with his peeping Tom issues. Because to tell you the truth, if another man who is bleeping stranger came up to me and told he had been watching my house and my wife I would be very skeptical of anything he says. Hell I might call the cops on him.

It's not like he or his wife is doing anything out the ordinary, so calling him a peeping tom is idiotic. Do you keep you eyes straight forward when walking to get the mail, or do you look around you? Base housing is relatively compact so it's pretty easy to see things without "peeping". Striking up small talk with the guy when he gets back, and just casually mentioning it wouldn't be accusing anybody of anything that is unknown. If the guy don't care, then there is no need to say anymore on the subject. It's not like andy is going to bluntly say the guys wife is a slut, because for all andy knows the guy could be alright with it.

There is a difference between being a bigot and not wanting others moral beliefs imposed upon yourself.

The thread you mentioned has nothing to do with the topic. Read what classy said. You lose. /thread

I know this isn't the end of the thread because people will come back with their tired old argument and this will start from the beginning.

might want to want until he is back to anonymously tip off - might as well not make deployment life even more miserable with thoughts of cheating wife
