*** ATOT ANTHROPOLOGICAL STUDY ***

So I have decided to do a linguistic study of ATOT for one of my Linguistic Anthropology classes....

and I'm inviting you to participate if you would like.

Just link relevant threads that show the unique communication style of ATOT if you would like me to include them in the paper.

I am going to be arguing that ATOT is a subset of American English with it's own lexicon, semantic styles, and cultural rules.

Any help in gathering data is appreciated!

I'm too lazy to link them, but you've got to mention all the parody threads... the most recent of which started with the "Will the airplane take off" thread spawning it's various helicopter on a record player, crows in a box, balloon in a box, and more I'm sure I missed parodies.

Idea:

Do a compare/contrast between internet forums with different demographics using them. Find a forum full of 14 year olds and note the use of "R U Goin 2 the concert" etc. People with poor grammar/spelling here tend to get ridiculed more frequently.
