Don't you know. It is Friday night and all the "geeks" as they are referred to have social lives.

Who needs a life when you have ATOT?
Exactly. However, one must have beer to accompany them.😉

Just picked up the ingredients for caucasions. 😀

(white russians for those of you that are Lebowski illiterate) 😉

But what happens (besides natural death) when you're twice the age of the average AT'er and have done the "Friday/Saturday night Keg party and clubby thing?"

I guess you just...post in OT and hope that someone ELSE with a brain does the same, resulting in stimulating cyber conversation. 🙁

Ah, good; the rescue squad has arrived.

I'm making "Poor Man's Pasta Sauce."

Brown 1-Lb ground beef w/ garlic/onion powder/black pepper/seasoning salt/basil. Add a few cans of Contadina tomato sauce. Simmer for about an hour.

Cook some pasta, cover with the above.

Normally, when I have money, I make meatballs, add in some hot and some sweet Italian sausage, a few hunks of beef, green bell pepper, fresh onion, etc.

but tonight, it's Budget Gormet night. 😱

yuck. you ever have cooked macaroni noodles and tomato juice heated up? my mom used to make that when i was kid, we didn't have much money and that was one of our main meals every so often. Makes me shudder thinking about it.

Yes, I've done that...pretty horrible, considering I'm First-Generation Italian! What I described above really isnt' all that bad; it's all in the spices, man. 🙂

i hear ya. i suppose with the right spices, it wouldn't be so bad. I'm more of the Ragu type, than to create my own sauce. *shrug* what do you expect, i grew up eating macaroni and tomato juice. 😉
