A guy on one of a different forum is selling a set of Atomic 175 skis for $90 + $40 shipping.
They set includes boots(the right size for me), bindings, poles, skis, and a ski bag.
Here is a picture of them.
Here is what he says about them:

"I haven't used these in 4 years, and I'm cleaning out my closet, so may as well sell them. I've used them once since having them sharpened so they're ready to go"

I've been skiing the past 4 winters in Colorado, but I always end up renting a set of skis.
These are not shaped skis, but I've used both kinds, and don't mind straight.
I'm not an advanced skier either, and I don't usually go on the black diamond runs.

What do you think?

I prefer parabolics (the curved ones), simply because it's much easier to turn with them. If you don't have a problem with straight skis, though, I guess it doesn't really matter. I've never used Atomics, but I hear they're decent skis.

I don't know how good or not you are, but the price seems good for what you get. I am a little old fashioned, and i like speed, so i stay away from small shape ski's. I prefer the mid 90's salomon MLX or similar in a 203 or 206. THey were the bridge between the regular flats and the shape ski's. They had a monoqouqe or however you spell it design and were quite nice.

damn... those are the same exact skis I have... even the same size....

Bought them about 10 years ago and still using them. They have taken some serious abuse and still keep going.
If I was a serious skier, I would have updgraded by now, but I go 1-3 times a year

I prefer parabolic skis in the 190 range. Atomic makes good skiis, and for the price, thats not a bad setup. The goggles alone should go for $20. The boots should go for $30 -$40.

How experienced are you, and what is your height / weight. That tends to make a difference. :D

I'll be out skiing tomorrow after class. I love the snow!

Hehe,
I'm lucky if I go sking 3 times a year myself... So do you think that's a reasonable price?

I'm an intermediate level skier. I can do moguls, but not fast at all, and diamonds, but I go down those slow also. I'm 6 feet tall, and come in around 200 pounds.
