Atom D2700?

What can you tell me about this CPU, as far as features and performance?

I just ordered a barebones with that CPU.

Is it faster or slower than an AMD C-70? How is the IGP?

I found it interesting that it is 2c 4t.

it's basically the original Atom (with higher clock, newer process), but it also uses the powervr 545 which as far as I know makes Intel HD Graphics look good.

the IGP is a lot worse than the C-70, CPU side should be a little better because of the big clock difference

The CPU is fine for simple tasks, the iGPU is awful, no 1080p only 720p playback, no 64bit drivers etc.

Passmark gives that a sore of 831 and the AMD C-70 gets a 610.

By comparison the Pentium D 3.60GHz also scores an 831.

Your CPU will choke with games like BF4 or Ghosts or Crysis 3 or what not..
