Atom board with TV Tuner built in?

Seriously, why has this not been done?

How hard would it be to put an RCA and coaxial TV/FM tuner on the board, along with an on board HD 3450 and DVI/HDMI/D-Sub/Coaxial out, while forgoing the pci slot?

Passively cool the whole thing in a nice case and there ya go, a home builders TV-PC for a modest sized monitor.

it would not be worth bothering to do that for some really niche market.

msi does make a net top that has a 4350 on it and you could just buy a usb tv tuner. all in one boards are too small a niche for them to bother doing it. if they did they'd have to charge a huge premium, which would be more than just buying a usb tuner.

its like if you bought a car , but in some bizarre combination with a weird color, it wouldnt be hard to do, but the economies of scale aren tthere.

Why not hope for it to be the size of a paperback book and cost $50? :awe:

I think there would be a lack of PCB space for all the extras, plus current stuff may run too hot.
