Atlon Classic 850@???

Hey i`ve just ordered an Athlon 850mhz and the quistion is.
How much overclocking do you guys think it could handle?
Is it possible to reach 1000mhz?
And are the core of the Athlon`s 850mhz just 850mhz or is it usually more?
And do i need a bigger fan?

It's totally possible for 1GHz. I've seen 750's acheive 1.1GHz, but obviously you probably know that there are no defineate overclocks 😕

Proper cooling and good quality ram will be pretty crucial
Your current O/C, 500 @ 715, would make me beleive you have good cooling and maybe good ram..

I'd say (hope) it'd make 1GHz.

You can do it, i have my 750@950......just depends on the processor that you have if it's gonna go that high

I just hope the Epox 7kxa can handle that speed,because on their web page it says that it supports up to 900mhz..

That bites... I can only get my 700 up to 770... Could never figure out the cache thing on the Epox board... Anyone have any ideas on how to change the dividor?
