Sounds more like ignorance is bliss. Good way to make sure your opinions are never challenged.

And you sound like a heroin addict pushing shit on people. No I don't need to live in the escapist fantasyworld of a sad US culture looking for anyway possible to escape their reality.

Folks who have tv are some of the most boring maladjusted propaganda fed people out there. And boring as hell to be stuck with at a party. Young people luckily grew up with internet thus have basic critical thinking skills and at least some social function outside of the escapism.

Nothing will change in this country until the tee vee finally dies. Good riddance to cold war era mindfucking and endless consumerism plastic culture.

Yes don't read a book, it isn't as good as real life. Don't listen to music, make your own. You are just dancing around the simple fact that you speak from ignorance and you have calcified opinion that is based on some weird need to feel superior and separate as you sneer at the rest of society rather than anything based in reality. I guess it is too much to bear for you to acknowledge there are people smarter and more artistic than you out there creating things other people might enjoy. Best to shut that all out.

Mass media is not reality you sheep.

Of 300 million people. Like what? Maybe a quarter watch television anymore? Irs a outdated mode of getting information with a whole lot of crap they are selling you blended in.

A dying industry. Turn off your tv and try it. The culture they feed you is the lie and has nothing to do with reality. Its a mindfuck for people too frightened of life or too lazy to think for themselves so it becomes a cultural babysitter and teacher. No thanks I am not into drugs. Just say no to corporate mindfucks.

You will realize you are not missing anything but apathy.

You try to illustrate your point with some cheap youtube video? That is your hand? I'm sorry, but your abstaining from popular culture has not helped you intellectually at all, your arguments are not impressive to say the least.

Rebecca black and such have their place, but to pretend they replace or even compete with things like the wire or breaking bad on tv is laughable.

My laptop is busted so I am on a droid phone. Hit the ignore button if you cannot deal with a few autocorrect errors. Maybe you should learn to read better if you cannot cope.

Or whine. It matters not to me.

I was refering to the book. I can understand speech to text isn't perfect.

They probably have it on tape for you to at least give it a go.
