Atlanta International Auto Show with PICS!

I attended the Atlanta International Auto Show today.

Here are some of my personal highlights:

-Finally got to sit in a Lotus Espirit V8 and Elise
(The Elise will be available in April 2003 in street-legal version with a 190hp Toyota V6)
-The PICS of the motorcycle are of the Dodge Tomohawk
(a Viper-engine-powered motorcycle concept/400mph top speed/0-60 in 2.5s)
-The 2005 Ford Mustang is truly a good looking car!
-The Chrysler Crossfire will be manufactured in Germany with a Mercedes engine, tranny, and many other parts.
-The Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder is still the most gorgeous car on the planet!
-Speaking of gorgeous, the new Audi A8 is amazing! MMI is much better than iDrive.
-BMW, Audi, and Toyota/Lexus still make the most solid-feeling cars. No surprise. BMWs actually feel more solid than Lexus.
-There is no better combination than a room full of hot cars and hot women!

Here are the PICS!

only one chick in the picture.Nuts.
I dig the motorcycle too. I wonder what'll happen if that thing falls on you.

The next Stang is the best looking thing an American car company has put out in a while.

There were many other hotties, but it just felt weird asking them to pose for me (as I did in that one case), so I didn't ask.

It's not a big car at all and only a 2 seater.

The Elise is a PAIN in the BUTT to get in and out of, but once in, it fits like a glove! With 190hp, that car will inspire major droolage!

Check out rbloedow's post above.
Thanks. But boy that thing looks shorter in length than in the commercial.

Yes, it does look shorter 😀 If it looked like that, I'd be willing to buy one 😛

The Mazda RX-8 looks to be a good car for the money. I was told it will MSRP in the mid-20s.

After sitting in the Elise, S2000, Z4, and Boxster, I came back with an even greater appreciation for the Miata. The Miata may not be the fastest or most luxurious, but it is a very reliable car that will put a smile on your face for far less $$$ than the others.

Some of those cars are so unreasonable. What ever happened to cars that are made to last 20 years? The Mustang has that shelby front end that doesn't look too bad. But I guess I am old skool.
