haha i'm thinking he'll bottle it as well

giant fans should be glad he kept them in it. he may still win but he was expected to get beat bad by this defense.

Manning looked pretty good for his first start. You gotta be excited as a Giants fan.

Did you watch the game or are you reading the stats? Receivers dropped 6 passes in the first half. That 80+ yard drive was masterful, he converted a couple of 3rd and longs. After initial jitters he dind't look rattled at all. Pretty good for a guy with all that pressure and starting his first game.

the fact that I wrote "bunch of drops... should tell you I watched it. He threw a horrible 2nd pick. didnt even look at the target. He will be good but he threw off target a lot.

Hence, I said he did pretty good for a first start....

I wonder how he would have been today had he started the whole season.

Probably dead.

What makes you say that?
Because the G men have no line.

They gave up only 1 sack against taunted Atlanta pass rush.
Lets see how they do vs the Eagles next week.

The line has been getting a bad rap. Half of the sacks they gave up are Warner's fault for holding on to the ball all day. Eli threw the ball away when he had to, something Warner would not do.

Clayton (from ESPN) says Warner's holding the ball because his wide receivers aren't getting open.
