Ok, i started the initiation stage 4 days ago. friday, saturday, sunday and today with fewer than 20 grams of carbs for the whole period. i've lost 7 lbs. all good i guess, but my concern is that i get slightly lightheaded.

i said i was doing no carbs, i didn't say i was doing high salt foods.

matter of fact my diet is composed 85% of Cauliflower, Lettuce, Broccali, carrots, tofu and lentils.

i also drink 8 to 10 12 oz glasses of water.

Why are you no longer on it?

What he said and maybe up you carb intake to break yourself in a bit... also carrots and cauliflower aren't recommended for the induction phase...

yup, it's a horrible diet that wreaks havoc on your body. The best way to cut the pounds is to reduce calories and increase exercise. People don't like to do that because it's hard work and they want an easy answer. You should not lose more that 2.5 pounds per week. This guy says he lost 7 lbs ,which I guarantee is pretty much all water weight

induction.

ok,

however, it's working so far for me, yes, i'm limiting my carrot intake compared to the other veggies. i have lost 7 lbs in 4 days so i'm happy with the results so far.

yeah all these diets are stupid, just eat till 80% full, (decent foods) and exercise. People need to get their ass off the couch or computer seat and get outside and sweat.

I dropped 40lbs using the Atkins diet and I wouldn't have been that succesful had I counted calories instead... I won't argue that americans are looking for a quick fix with this diet but it does work for short term weight loss.

Quit spreading lies. He died from falling on an ice patch, which sent him into a coma.

Copy of death certificate

Idiot.

oh yes, that's always the answer. my mother ate 1 moderate meal a day and walked 2 hrs every day, and STILL gained weight, because she skipped breakfast.

the obvious is not always correct, your reasoning is the same kind of reasoning that tried to convince americans that fat in diet caused cholestorel. guess what it doesn't it's carbs in our diet that are converted to cholestorel.
