How good is ATiTool at finding max core and max memory overclocks? I recently acquired a 9550 with a passive heat sink. I read up on overclocking the 9550 and most people say they hit the limit at 400/210ish. When I used ATITool, though, my mem clock hit 250 and my core hit 440. Now, of course, I'm going to drop it down a bit (currently I'm at 425/240), but I don't want to damage my card, because there's a good chance I'm going to return it. Should I follow the guidelines ATITool gave me?
 
oc amount varies with card, cooling etc. If you let it scan for a while after the max is found and it picks up no artifacts its ok. Backing off 10% of max is good idea anyway imho.
