ATI's website is now part of AMD's site.

They redesigned it today and this has been posted just as much as the rapist picture in that time period. Do a search.

Man, I really hate mergers.. Really ****** annoying that AMD bought ATI. Why don't we just make things easier and have Microsoft Buy Intel, nvidia and AMD, that way they can become just as bad as apple.

One of friends, an endangered Condor living in a nest somewhere onto of the chrysler building, near one of the gargoyles, jsut called me on his cell and said that before his sat conenction dropped due to interference from the Port Autority's radio sweep this morning, that he saw your post and had no idea what the puck you meant.

Please, ellaborate, for the sake of my good friend the condor at least.

Well I guess it wont be long then the ATi name will be gone completly and youd be buying a AMD X1900XTX 512MB card. Looks like maybe AMD did what Nvidia did with Voodoo and bought them out. Good thing is though its a cpu company so atleast they wont be shutting down ATi like Nvidia did after taking over Voodoo. OH unless they are in cahoots with Nvidia in same way and will "faz" out the graphics division. That would suck then. Nvidia or onboard graphics, and with Nvidia having no one to compete with it will be like EA and and sports games. Same sh1t every year all buggy with nothing new to offer us.

ROFL

AMD X1900XTX 512MB card

that is awesome...

like HP-Compaq!

-but from which company!? -I don't know, take your pick!

well I don't think nVidia is going under, but I'm sure nVidia is pretty p*ssed off that their long trusted buddy is actually teaming up with their graphics card rival, ATI.

some of us won't be getting much sleep... (lol)

Nope, see AMD will have to create a whole new naming scheme that will use a number that references it's GPU speed vs the Intel, oops - I mean Nvidia GPU line of cards.

See my point. AMD is doing government tatics on us. Watch this hand over here while in the other hand, holding nvidias, keeps ATi going for a year making the loyal ATi users happy then claim theres was no profit in it and closes down that division. Leaving once again AMD and Nvidia happy trusted buddies and no one really saw it comming and nothing but Nvidia as you graphics choice. I think Nvidia found a differnt way or partner to take over ATi and not come out of it looking as though they pulled another voodoo on us coving thier rep they got now in doo doo like EA did to themselves. I used to think EA was a good company that made good games. But now that they hold the cards and there is no comp to go up against them, they pump out crap to us for our fix knowing we will buy it because its a "drug" were used to having. Even if it gives us a sh1tty high with a massive hangover later (buyers remorse).
