"<FONT face=Verdana>PARIS ? Hoping to boost the lagging U.S. digital TV market, ATI Technologies Inc. (Markham, Ontario) is introducing a next-generation DTV receiver chip integrated with digital terrestrial/cable demodulation capabilities and analog TV reception features. </FONT>
The new chip will be unveiled at this week's (April 7-11) National Association of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas.
With its new Theater 310 chip, ATI said it hopes to set a "new benchmark for digital cable-ready DTV products, both in its integration and performance," said Mike Gittings, ATI's director of digital television marketing. "

Just trying to find a new stand-alone TV Tuner card with this newest chip
There isn't one. ATI produces Chips for many applications. Probably be used for STB applications. Maybe never for PC.
AIW 9700 used the Theater 2 chip
Theater 200
ATI's TV Wonder cards used the old Theater 1?
TV wonder uses Brooktree chips, older units use Rockwell chips. Older AIW cards like AIW Radeon, AIW 7500, AIW 8500 use Rage Theater
