ATI's next step? Guesses/info welcome

I am wondering if they are bringing a X1900XL soon- I would take it as a given- but haven't heard one word about one yet. And this is Ati (hard to keep info under wraps),not Nvidia.

Any thoughts on what they may come up with? And when?

Pretty sure the whole X1800 line was discontinued incl. the XL so I would think they would want something in this huge price range.

Like I said in other threads, I expect a x1900xl to be released in a month or so, probably waiting for Nv to release the 7900gt. I'm thinking it would launch at ~$400, and then the prices would settle down somewhere closer to $350 shortly after. What interests me more is the x1700, to see how many quads it has carried over from the x1900, and how it will perform compared to the x850xt and the 6800gs, as well as the upcoming 7600 series. There might even be a x1900pro version with 3 of the 4 quads enabled.

I'm definitely hoping for a 256-bit memory bus, with 256 mb of mem on the x1700. Seems like at this point in time a 128-bit bus should only be used on budget cards.
