ATI's new driver messin up my comp :(

I just downloaded and installed the new cat 5.6 drivers off the ATI website, after installing, restarting, and entering windows, my system moves like a slide show now, I have no idea what's wrong! The previous version of the cat I had, which was 5.4 I believe, gave me no trouble at all. Anyone have any ideas why this could be occuring?

First thing you should do is completely remove all ATi drivers from the system, reboot and reinstall. -> Program Files\ATi Technologies\UninstallAll\AtiCimun.exe

I just rolled back the drivers, good idea.

-edit: after trying that, the problem was present upon reboot, but apparently corrected itself, my computer has the 5.6's now, and it runs like it should, thank you
