ATI's Hydravision - do I need it?

Hi Folks - I just upgraded from an x800 to a 3850 and the install package included an ATi program called Hydravision. Apparently this is for 2 monitors?

I do not and don't see myself ever running two monitors - do I need this? Can I uninstall it?

I take it you're installing from the CD? I haven't seen Hydravision since like 2006.

Yes, from the CD - it was the package released in December. There is a newer one from January on the ATi/AMD site, but it looks like it has Hydravision too (so much for selecting "Express Install...")

Yeah I did notice the hydravision at that bottom. It is not necessary to manage your multi-monitors. CCC can do that just fine.
