Newegg doesn't have any concrete info though.
...thanks. That's what I said. All I can see is the vague "CrossFire" description with a slave card picture. They don't have any evidence indicating which on is which if they are different at all.

on the manufacturer's website for that card it doesnt show the crossfire dongle coming with it, that means its not a mastercard i think
It also doesn't have the CrossFire connector on the card itself.

josh for Elite!

This is the only sane man in video.

Anyway, haven't seen a mastercard myself. Not like I'm in the market for one, but I'm always curious to see if companies can actually keep up with demand... in this case, any demand... at all.

Ackmed, seriously now. Take off the red spandex turtleneck and polyesther cape, and try to think of this thread as actually talking about the availability of X1950 Mastercards. Your imagination is getting the better of you. If you don't drink moonshine, now is the time to start.
Peace.

Funny how you flip-flop. If I would have said what wreckage did, you would be all over me. But since it wasnt me, its a-ok. wreckage wasnt talking about the avail of master cards, just posted to take a shot at ATi. Why the insults? Try to do without, you'll find it works better.

No insults. It's how you are perceived in here by many. Common knowledge. N7 Is kinda on the right track. I prefer nvidia, but I'm not an idiot about it. If I ever was, I'm not any longer.
You however, appear to have staying power with an insurmountable will dedicated to never changing or maturing. So, you float around waiting to pounce on even a harmless humourous comment like Wreckage's. Sure it was sarcastic. But why exactly is it that you care more than most? What's your motive? Anywho.... It might do some good if you actually just left the thread. I'm here just for curiousity about whether or not the X1950 "launch" of Mastercards, is paper, plastic or other.

Small town drama :p

Oddly enough, It's just Ackmed who can't get along anymore. I get along with pretty much everyone on this forum. Well there is that one guy with the bad X1900 that no one seems to tolerate.

Otherwise....it's all good (unless you actually want to order a X1950 Matercard of course). :D

You and Ackmed can resolve your differences by finding a common enemy.

That will be me. I hate video cards. All of them.

josh for Elite!

This is the only sane man in video.
Hardly. If we gave Elite status to anyone who was sane, there would only be Elites and that one guy that thinks software and hardware have nothing to do with eachother...
Is he the link9x of video?
That's for others to decide.
I hate video cards. All of them.
Since you hate them so much, would you mind hunting one for me? Find me an X1950XTX CrossFire mastercard and I'll let you pull the trigger ;)

Has anyone else found any concrete distinction on a site where the two are both available?

Josh I have yet to see one step forward with anything to make me think they have a master in stock. On that note I would wait.... and believe me I have been looking a lot! I would give them time. They said they would have them and they always have come through. I have worked in electronics for almost 20 years and will tell you a company will hold production for any rework needed before it sends out cards it will need to replace. It could be as simple as one resistor value being wrong in the design.

Is that a ?paper launch?? I don?t think so on behalf of NVIDIA or ATI it could be a design flaw and the companies watching out for the consumers and stockholders.

Thanks! That part number is just what I need when browsing for cards. As long as it has that part number, the websites can call it anything they want.
