ATI's Awesome banner Ad

Odd thing is, it's still counting down. If it were negative it would act like it was counting UP (or, rather, making a larger negative number).

But it goes from 59 seconds to 0 seconds, then I watched minutes go from 8 to 7.

Unless the hours or days go up (well more negative) when it changes... I'm not going to watch it long enough to find that out 🙂

That counter is counting down... watch the seconds and minutes. Must be in shuttle mission time format.

This could be R520 related because a new counter is on ATI.com now too but they are 4 days apart.

I know. I was thinking of that old joke of how to keep a moron entertained for hours, write "turn over" on both sides of a piece of paper... 😀

If it were to count up, it would turn days into a positive number.

LOL! How the heck did you know that? Also, in -8 days all X800XT's will unlock to 64 pipes and SM 4.0 with HDR with absolutely no performance hit!😀

As much as I tried to clarify my meaning I knew someone still wouldn't understand. I meant up or down in terms of absolutes, and clarified my meaning as best I could with the comments in parens.

By the way you are defining up and down it is counting up, and will reach 0. The absolute numbers are getting smaller, and seem timed to hit 0 around the end of the month.

Guys, I tested this out... Change your PC's date and the timer also changes... I changed it to the 30th and now I've got -16 days lol.
