aticfx64.dll problem

all of a sudden photoshop stopped loading with a aticfx64.dll error. so did adobe premier and Avid Media Composer gave me this error

I have removed my ati drovers and installed the latest beta with no luck. I have a HD6900 series card

game and everything work fine its just some applications that I really need to use just stopped working all of a sudden.

all the support pages for the apps say "reinstall your drivers", well I done that several times

any ideas?

Go to the "How to Fix aticfx64.dll error manually" part and work your way down.

Yup...run CC Cleaner's Registry Cleaner then restart.
That will remove any uninstalled dll traces.
You could also try system restore to a date before your recent crash.
I presume those programs were functioning correctly previous to your current problem?
