ati2dvag.dll corrupt

I recently did a full system restore with dell software. installed the win xp home, then sp2, then went in to fix driver problems, i installed teh video card and rebooted and got a BSoD... for ati2dvag.dll.. it does not any further. i used the driver on the dell cd and sp2 from microsoft cd. any ideas?

never use drivers from an (obviously dated) cd, especially not a dell cd. download new drivers from ATI's website

Safe mode, uninstal drivers, install Cat 4.11 or the 4.12 betas.

neither driver from the site or the 4.11 or 4.12beta cat driver works. the ati site redirects to dell for the driver which does the corruption as well. have tried versions A00 and A02. any other ideas? thanks

Do you have a mobile Radeon in a Dell notebook? If it is, Omega drivers are probably the easiest way to upgrade your drivers if you want the latest ATI Catalyst drivers.
