The age old (well, year and a half) battle between ATI and Nvidia will never end. Nvidia, the once current king, had many, many fans. Of course, ATI, the underdog at the time, had just as loyal fans as Nvidia.
Nvidia fans completely knew they were right, just because Nvidia was the current king, and didn't look to be dethroned. Nvidia fans saw the future, and it looked as if Nvidia could never falter.
ATI fans always had a hope, and now the day has come, when ATI has overcame Nvidia. The future looks now for ATI what once was seen for Nvidia. ATI fans are overjoyed, and now stand in the exact same 'chair' that Nvidia fans once occupied.
But a few years down the road, another superpower could emerge, and ATI fans will be able to see what it was like for Nvidia zealots of the present, the agony of defeat at the hands of another. (Matrox, possibly? You never know.)
It's a vicious cycle.
