ATI XPERT2000 or VOODOO3 3000? Please suggest!

Both are pretty decent priced and was wondering if one was superior over other. Just know that ATI has hardware DVD. Please put in your $.02. Thanks!!!
 
That depends, is it the XPERT 2000 or the XPERT 2000 PRO? Only the Rage128 PRO and Radeon cards come with the hardware DVD. If it's not the XPERT 2000 PRO don't even look at it.

For gaming or anything 3D related the Voodoo3 is far superior to any of the Rage128/Rage128 PRO cards (except the Rage Fury MAXX). If all you want to do is watch DVDs then the ATI card would be best, assuming it's the XPERT 2000 PRO. Although depending on how fast your CPU is the Voodoo3 could probably do a good job with DVDs as well.
