I have to get an HP with this card built-in. Either I pay an extra $800 CAD (US$500) out of my own expense acct. for a 1280x1024 analogue NEC TFT monitor, or else I get a 17" TTX Aperture Grill monitor.
If I get the 17" I'd like to be able to run at least 1280x960 in Win NT 4, since 1280x1024 is an "incorrect" resolution for a 4:3 CRT monitor. I note the standard ATI drivers don't support it. I will be doing some Photoshop on this once in a while.
