I would say anything above the mid 70s is a little high, though it is still well within the card's tolerances. If it peaks at the mid 80s then I would say you have some cause for concern . . .

so was i . . . xt850xt @ 550/614 . . . it doesn't get out of the 50s . . .

otoh, my 9800xt when o/c'd would easily reach 80C [with an ArcticCooler Rev3]
