ATI X850XT PE on SLI Mobo

I want a good mobo that wont slack in the gaming department. I have the ATI X850XT PE with an AMD FX-55, I was wondering if the card would work right with and SLI setup or would it be better just to get a different mobo. Any help would be greatful
 
Id go with a DFI or MSI board and overclock the piss out of the memory and processor. Then take the card up abit to break it in, then go balls to the wall with it and have the sickest gaming rig around. Its what i plan on doing next week!
