Built my PC last week using these 2 components. Ran into trouble when I tried to insert the ATI X850XT graphics card as it uses 2 bays and the oversized plastic cooler that channels the hot air out the 2nd slot is too low to the board and will block off the 2 1394b sockets on the MB so I can't connect them up.
I really liked this Asus MB so tried to change the heatsink and fan on the graphics card and replaced with a Zalman Cu cooler. It looks weird but it fitted right. Is there any issues with this setup or will it be stable?
Alternatively has anyone managed to fit the ATI X850XT card to a Asus P5AD2X motherboard without intefering with any of the sockets/plugs on that MB?
