I just got my x800XL in. It does have a UPC sticker, just like on the tradeup form.

BTW, can you use a non-usable card to trade in? Does it have to be in working condition?

Before someone else bits your head off...no posting of codes allowed;) Also, at the bottom of the FAQs page for the Trade-up program it says no other discounts/coupons allowed.

If it's not allowed, why do they allow you to check out with it? I doubt they would actually check if you used any coupons when you send in the old trade-in card.

Update: I called them to see if the promo code can be used. They said that if the order went through, there shouldn't be any problems. Let's just wait and see... might get lucky :)

BTW, anyone knows how much if a FEDEX shipped return of a video card to Carrollton, TX from Las Vegas, NV? I still have to return my X800 XL... or maybe I should just sell it on craigslist for 120 bucks.

Anandtech doesn't allow codes to be published here.

I called ATI right after I ordered and they said a deduction would occur from the $50 in the amount of the coupon. I think the order went through because the ATI web-site couldn't determine if you will apply for the $50 discount. IMO.

I called because I didn't want to lose $50 to save ~$9;)(i.e., ATI picks which discount to apply)

You gotta watch ATI on the rebaits. I waited 6 months for a $35 rebait on my x850. And that was after a phonecall to thier rebait people. IMO... when it comes to ATI look at any deal with a rebait as BS. I buy at the out the door price or nothing now.

I ordered the AIW x800xt Saturday and just got off of the phone with CS at ATI.

The card is listed as being in stock but the CS rep. told me they are out of stock
and on back order.

For people who would like to see a streaming video review of the card,
check this link out.

If you have a card to trade in, this is a far better deal than the clearance sale.

This is a credit not a rebate, they actually put the money back on your credit card, terms state within 20 days. I paid with AmEx anyway, I'm confident they will take care of any problems for me :)

Dude, when I traded in for my old 9800pro back in the day, I think I gave them an ISA card. ISA.

That said, I'm not sure they've sunk low enough to accept a FX5200.

When comparing the AIW x800xt to the clearence sale,

the AIW x800xt comes with a 3 yr. warranty,

the clerence is only 1 yr.

Even the x850 pro which was sold as a new card on the clearence
deal had only a 1 yr warranty.

Augh, ordered the AIW x800 XT and got an email saying it's on back order. I'm going to keep my order in with them for now to see when they get more, however I might have to cancle my order b/c I'm going to be traveling for pretty much all of September so I wont be able to send in my old graphics card winthin the 20 days required if they send it to me then.

Actually on that note, I also called to verify that there's no restriction on what graphics card you replace and the rep I spoke with said he had someone else call earlier and ask the same question and that any card should qualify. I asked if my Nvidia Geforce 2 would be to old and he said that it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the heads up, I was able to get this to work. I put the item in the cart and then backed out and the "Reconsider leaving us" offer showed up on the right hand side of the page. I clicked the box and it took $5 off. There's that, free shipping, and if the trade in works I will be one happy camper!

I meant to ask for the shipping on a refund :) I'm going to do USPS for the trade up probably.

I purchased 2 X800XT AIW cards and sent back two older cards on 10 Aug 2006. I received an e-mail from ATI today stating my credit card will be credited $100 in 3-5 days!
