ATI X800/X850 series PCI-E--molex connector

see title. I thought for some reason that ATI used a non standard PCI-E---molex connector on these series cards. Am I right, or am I just making things up?

fwiw I actually own an X850XT, but I have no idea, other than the connector cable does in fact work
