X700XT was cancelled and replaced with X800XL. X800XL is somewhat available but is still priced significantly higher than MSRP (best prices seem to be around $360 or so). Still, it's not a bad PCIe card for $370, and in many ways is similar in performance to a 6800GT which is ~$430.
Price should drop over the next month or so, and hopefully will hit ~$300 (which is the MSRP).
Also, you can preorder @ the ATI website for $300, but no one knows quite when they will be shipping. The latest rumor is mid-march (what pre-order people were told by customer service reps).
Anyhow, look around for info on the X800XL and you should find a bunch of threads.
