ATI X1950XTX question

Ok, finally went back to ATI and recently got an X1959XTX. The specs are supposedly

Core clock: 650MHz
Memory Clock: 2000MHz

Downloaded catalyst 7.2, installed card in other spare gaming system to run some stress tests. Ran the catalyst prog, says the mem clock is 594mhz but wants 999mhz. Now, I have only been non-ati for 7 months, but, what the heck is going on? I know you double the stock mem clock, but its saying 594, now 594x2 does not equal 2000mhz. Am I missing something? does the clock hit 2000 when it needs it? I leave ATI for a few months and the whole catalyst changes. 🙂

*EDIT* OK, I figured it out. Pretty sweet way they implement the DDR4 on this baby!
