ATI x1950xtx overclocking apps?

Just like the topic says. What are you guys using to oveclock with? I have used CCC overdrive and ATI Tool. I didn't get very good results with ATI Tool my memory wouldn't even run at stock speeds without crashing. I think it had something to do with how ATI Tool handled mem settings and volts. Does anyone know if there is an ATI Tool that handles the GDDR4?

Thanks.

ATI Tool prebeta 16 should allow correct memory frequencies to be set on the X1950XTX. If they're not working I'd suggest trying the techPowerUp forums since that is where the ATI Tool creator resides. He, or others who are very familiar with ATI Tool's construction, maybe able to help you unlock or find some of the X1950's memory capabilities.

wasnt there some driver or something that had a setting for 2d/3d mode? i don't know.. for my x1900 i had to get rid of it, and it was free flying from there (on atitool).

only thing i use nowadays. yes, i use it for x1950xtx, i have only used profile to OC for valve games and it works great with HL2 and CSS.

How high do you have your mem clocks? Can this program change the volts for the GDDR4 ram? Thanks for your help!

mem 1050 default volts. any higher, starts showing artifacts on farcry but not visible in other games like css.

if you want to mess with volts, you may try ati's winclk 5.22. never tried it before.

Thanks for your help. I am really wondering if the card's memory is really isn't overclocking that great or if it's the programs that just can't overclock the memory very well. 50mhz over stock isn't too cool.
