Ok, my computer is aging, and aging fast, but i would like for it to last until at least next year. Please don't say anything about still having AGP, i would just like to know which would be the better buy between these 3 cards:

ATI X1950 512MB
ATI X1650Pro 512MB

or the NVidia equivalent which would be what? i dont know the Nvidia equivalent please point me to that one as well.

So there yall have it, between those 3 cards which would squeeze the last juice out of my computer??

My sense would be that whichever one is the best deal. I don't think that there will be much of any difference in actual visual performance between them on an older AGP machine. But - your listed system ain't that old - looks like a really fast AMD 64, plenty of RAM and power. Unless you are a really serious gamer, or benchmarker, I don't see as you'll notice much difference over the ATI 1600 you are currently running. I think I'd save my $$$ for new system with a Core 2 Duo, etc.

XFX just released the 7900GS and 7950GT in AGP. 7900GS is equivalent to X1950PRO, and the 7950GT to the X1950XT (rougly). I wouldn't go with anything less than a X1950PRO or a 7900GS cause otherwise you probably wont see much of a difference from your current card.

The x1650 sucks , don't buy that one. Get the 1950 pro since you have a nice psu to power it. Try to overclock your cpu a little too. Nvidia 7900 series Agp cards are better for people with weak psu's.

Good advice. As usual, the X1650 is a mid-range card with a whack more memory bolted on so the big numbers will sell it to people. It's not nearly as good as the X1950 Pro. Also, as Phantomaniac said the 7900GS and 7950GT have been released on AGP apparently. I think the X1950 Pro is a Happy Medium (;)) between them but aim for 7900GS/X1950 Pro/7950GT area and then determine by price along that scale.

Just whichever is cheapest and doesn't sound like an airplane according to user reviews.
