Not sure if this is the correct place to put this, but I would think people here are more knowledgable.
I've tried 3 different Cat drivers (6.5, 6.4, 6.3) for my x1900 aiw card, and each and every single driver will give me playback issues with certain files. They seem to be wmv files. The picture looks like fluorescent light bulbs. Pink, green, bright blue, etc.
Anyone have any information on this?
Also, does ATI have an issue with dual monitors? Every single time I play a game, it lags while the other monitor flickers.
No, this is not a flame-ATI post, so please don't bring that here. If you intend on trolling, just type :troll;
Any help is appreciated, thanks
Additional info: Fresh install of XP, sp2. I run driver cleaner each and every time I install a new driver. Codec packs don't seem to affect it.
SOLVED: Well I solved it. For those of you who have the same problems, run dxdiag, under Display, disable the agp texture acceleration if you have pci-e. Now, anyone know about the dual monitor issue?
