Just installed my x1900 AIW and whenever i try to play a video file , i get some type of green discoloration.Instead of viewing a video file in black and white for example its green/yellow throughout all the video files.Has anyone ever heard of this happening?I just downloaded and installed the latest ATi drivers.

Thanks

I know exactly what you are talking about. The only fix I have found after months of searching is to just simply disable WMV Acceleration.

There is an option for this in CCC and ATI TT.

I know it's pretty ridiculous that you have to disable WMV Acceleration just to view the video, but I ahve not found another way. Way to go Avivo.

It has to do with the ATi/AMD merger. The new ATi color scheme is green, so they've modified their most recent drivers to reflect this change.

Actually, you may need to install the proper codec. Use a program like GSpot to determine which codec you need, or install a codec pack like K-Lite which install the most commonly used codecs.

Damn, I dont have CCC installed and cant remember where it was exactly. Can someone else chime in?

In ATI TT it's in the settings option with VPU recover. Look for it where you enable/disable VPU recover in catalyst control center.

Sorry TT = TrayTools, a replacement program for the Control Center.

Look under display options, display management or Avivo. It's in one of those.
