ATi X1300 Dual monitor problem

Hi, I have an ATi X1300 with a monitor and a projector. I need to clone the first monitor onto the second. When I turn on the computer, everything works perfectly, until windows finishes loading, then I lose my projector. In the Display properties, the 2nd monitor remains disabled, unless I check the "Extend my windows desktop" button. I don't want extend... I need clone. Installing Catalist control center is not something I am willing to do due to it's large resource consumption.

I'm pretty sure you need CCC to get clone mode working.
