When I install the CCC, I get an option to install some kind of Rage Theater drivers through the custom installation. By default it was checked off so I decided to install it. Are they some kind of audio codecs (they are under the Audio Devices tab in the task manager)? And could they be conflicting with my integrated sound drivers?

They're used for the Rage Theater audio/video encoder chip (duh) on ATI's "All-In-Wonder" video cards and some of their "TV Wonder" standalone video capture boards. Installing them if you do not have one of these cards will do nothing.

They also work on VIVO cards. If your X800pro is a VIVO card you'll ned the WDM drivers to enable video capture

I thought they had a separate WDM driver for the VIVO cards, but this is possible... I haven't ever used an ATI video card with VIVO, personally.

My card isn't VIVO. And I always new the video capture as ATI's Video Capture. Not the Rage Theatre. When i hear Rage, I think of the Rage line before Radeons.

I still have my Radeon64 DDR VIVO, its not been installed for some time now, but it uses Rage Theater and you use the same WDM's.

Yea, Rage Theater is just the VIVO chip (or now Theater 200).
