Some users have reported that capturing with third party applications will fail under the following conditions:
RADEON series product with TV Tuner/VIVO capabilities
CATALYST 3.2 driver suite or higher
DirectX 9.0
Third-party capture applications such as Adobe Premiere, ULEAD Video Studio, and others
Some of the symptoms reported include application hanging/crashing, or booting back to the desktop.

Supposedly you can install on top of the older WDM's if you are already running Cat 3.4's without a driver re-install...I'll let you know
UPDATE: Installed new WDM drivers right over the top of the ones that were released with Cat 3.4. Verified that they indeed installed, work fine. Others worked fine for me also.
