ATI TV Wonder + Windows2000

Hello I want to know if tha ATI TV Wonder is working ok on windows 2000

I have a P3 700 and riva tnt

Everthing but the video capture portion of the card. Make sure you have MS DX 8 installed also.

Has anyone ever gotten these drivers to work w/ a Voodoo5500? I think I tried it a while back when these drivers were just released and had no luck...

my ATi TV Wonder works well with my Voodoo5 5500. The person who sold me my card gave me the old drivers. I should be getting the new ones any time now.

I feel SO compelled to give this guy a bad rating.

No I'm not kidding. Not only did the CD have huge hole(I'm not talking about the one in the middle, althought the hole is just as big), it was warped and dirty. He also failed to pack instructions. To top that, the card had a huge amount of rust on it. The card was BROWN on the back. I'll never be able to sell it. It looks like a piece of turd.

As for the ATI drivers, I have used them in windows 2000 with my geforce ddr, but I find them very unstable on my system, so, for now I will still have to use 98 until better drivers are released.

Jonney did you install DX8 yet on your system. The MMC 7.1 beta where very unstable for my gforce ddr and all the issues cleared right up after DX 8 was installed.

Has anyone gotten this message after installing the ati w2k drivers?

There is a selection bar, but no video card is listed w/in it.

I have a voodoo 5500, and dx 8 installed.

phlashphire: Do you have 5 new "ATI TV Wonder xxx" devices listed in Device Manager? Also the very latest sound card drivers, the SBLive Win2k drivers from MS won't work with the TV Wonder.

Thanks for the advice vailr, I did a double check in Device manager, and found out that the ATi installation package didn't fully install all the drivers (even after 3 tries). I manually installed the the drivers and it worked.

Seems like there is a noticeable decrease in visual qualitity tho' compared to Win 9x.

I have a Voodoo3 and it worked horribly for me.

I haven't tried since the beginning of november but it was bad enough that I'm in no rush to try agian.
