ATI TV wonder VE problem

I bought ATI TV Wonder VE tv tunner card to use for RCA sat long time ago.
and it was great while watching all those free movies on direct TV.
Ever since I couldn't watch it anymore, I had it disconnected.

Recently, I just split the cable on my cable modem to watch cable TV on my computer.
and installed new drivers and MMC(ver 9.08) on it.

After some problems, I got it to work and it was working good on that day.
Now it's crashing my computer every time I try to run TV. It either just hangs after seeing the ATI TV logo, or hard reboots my computer.

Seeing that ATI provides XP drivers for it, I don't know what the problem is other than it's another ATI driver problem.(I hate ATI for their drivers or lack of updated drivers)

Anyone with this tunner card, experienced the same thing? anyone can help me out here?

I have ATI TV Wonder VE I wish I could help you but I am using W2k pro. Maybe I should stay away from Windows XP?

Anyway did you unstall everything before you install 9.0?
