Hey everyone. I just installed and ATI TV Wonder card in my new machine (running windows xp).

I installed the new drivers and software and everything went (seemingly) fine.
The only problem is The TV Tuner program will only recognize the Video In not the cable in. The only connector option I have is Composite. Does anyone know how to get it to recognize CATV?

Thanks.....

CATV work for me, but then again I'm using a standard coaxial with my ATI TV Wonder VE + WinXP. You don't have a spare from an old VCR laying around?

I'm using standard coaxial too. For some reason the card just doesn't recognize that I have the cable plugged into the card. I tried reinstalling the software and when it did the system check it gave me this message:

Failed:
Primary: Graphics Chip: Not ATI RAGE PRO or LTPRO or more recent.

My graphics card is a brand new Gainward GeForce3 Ti200.......any idea whats going on? Thanks....

Ignore the message. It'll throw you off. That's just ATI's way of getting you to ditch your present card and buy an ATI. Any card that supports overlay should work fine the TV Wonders.

As to the reason why the coaxial is not recognized, I can't say except you should play around with the settings some more. Is it directly connected to the cable box or are you using a pass-through with a VCR? If the later, try playing a tape while you're trying to get it to detect. I'm using MMC 7.1, by the way.
